Fugue Legion is a collaborative effort. The idea of this effort was created by the editor, and through special invitiation, the authors of the characters here have agreed to contribute their creative efforts to the collaboration.
Creative contributions to Fugue Legion remain the copyrighted property of their authors, however at any time any character may appear in the story of another author.
If you do not wish for your character to be in another story, you are free to pull your character from the collaboration at any time, however, the use of your character name (written into other stories) may still be in use after your departure.
Fugue Legion claims no authorship to anyone’s posts other than their own. If you do not like the situations your character finds themselves in in another’s story, you can write them out of the situation in your own story.
In the event that you discontinue your membership of the site, or if you can no longer contribute to your character, you may forfeit your character to another author. The rights to the subsequent work will remain with the author but you will retain the rights to all of the previous work on the character. In other words, what one author writes, he retains rights to.
At any point another author may be telling your characters story from their view. You are aware that this is the case when you agree to contribute. Please note, that by signing up and posting your characters, you are agreeing to their use by other authors in their stories.
You are also made aware that to ensure usability of the site, your pages may be moved around from time to time. The content will remain unaltered.
Fugue Legion reserves the right to discontinue any member’s character or account with Fugue Legion at any time. Fugue Legion also reserves the right to delete any harmful comments and remove any content that may be seen as harmful or abusive toward any other member.
Fugue Legion also reserves the right to remove any story that does not intend on being part of the collaborative effort.
By signing up and contributing, you give Fugue Legion the right to use your work in the Fugue Legion print collaboratives, and therefore waive your rights to publish these stories elsewhere without express written permission of Fugue Legion, it’s editors, and publishers.
Fugue Legion’s responsibilities to it’s authors are limited to advance notice of any print editions of the collaborative. In which case you may appeal to the editors for removal of your stories from the collaboration.
